If you have ever experienced change in your life (and who hasn't) you should read this very short, simple book.

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.
Everything you ever wanted to know about how to get on with people.

Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch.
Not a book for anyone who is deeply religious. If you are it will almost certainly offend you. If you're not religious, read it; you'll be amazed and astounded.
