About Freebies

We all know there's an abundance of free downloads available on the internet. Practically every website you visit has something free to give away.

The truth is that most of those giveaways are pretty unexciting because they have little practical value to the user.

This is often because they are only designed to tempt us to spend money on something else, or are of poor quality, or both. If you've spent any time at all on the internet, it's clear that this is the case.

Mindful of that, I set out to find some freebies that really are useful because they have a genuine, intrinsic value to the user.

Here's what I found...

Below are some of the best free giveaways available on the internet today. They are all genuinely 100% free, except NOD32 (see anti-virus).

Yes of course it's true that some of them are designed to tempt you to spend money, but you don't have to. None of them are free trials, they are all full working versions.

Simpleology 101

This is an online training course written by Mark Joyner. Mark is a world renowned internet marketing expert and best selling author.

Mark says that our success in life is determined by the way we use the power available to us. He says this power comes in 3 forms; Time, Money and Energy.

His Simpleology courses are designed to address each of these power sources one by one. i.e:

Simpleology 101 deals with Time (Free of charge)
Simpleology 102 deals with Money
Simpleology 103 deals with Energy

In my opinion, all 3 courses are excellent. So much so, that I recommend the free course, Simpleology 101 "The Simple Science of Getting What You Want" to all of my clients without exception.

I would say that this is probably one of the best coaching tools available anywhere.

Open Office

Would you like to have an office suite of software, similar to Microsoft Office and compatible with it's file formats, but without the price tag?

Ok, so that's a no-brainer; of course you would, who wouldn't?

Open Office is open source software that is 100% free to download and use. It includes word processor, spreadsheet, database, presentation and graphics software.

There's got to be a catch, right?... No there isn't, it's 100% free and you can download it here.

TurboCASH

TurboCASH .7 is an open source accounting package that is free for everyone to download and distribute under the terms of the General Public Licence (GPL). It is one of the world's first fully-featured open source accounts packages for small business. Again it's free and you can download TurboCASH here.

CCleaner

Do you wish you could clean up all the redundant files, download leftovers, temporary files and so on from your hard drive?

Do you wish you could clean up your registry file effectively and easily?

Do you wish you could do that without spending any money and without getting something that is full of spyware, adware etc?

Now you can! CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is free, simple to use and brilliant.

Anti-Virus

Without anti-virus you are exposing yourself to all sorts of risks.

There are lots of products out there and plenty of free trials to entice you to buy. This is one area where the market leaders are definitely not the best.

The best anti-virus software by miles is NOD32 from ESET. Don't take my word for this, their website has statistics from independent testing. However, NOD32 is NOT FREE (though they do have a free trial here.) The full version starts at under £30 and blows all the competition into the weeds.

Personally, I wouldn't use anything else.

But, this page is about freebies so here is one that is free, and whilst it isn't NOD32, it's better than no protection at all.
